About DevXchange

Devxchange International Programs was founded by Tom and Beth Fellows, following their 30 years of experience in international humanitarian work. The Fellows believed in a different approach to international development – one where people could volunteer their time or expertise to build a direct relationship with overseas partners, who were on the front line of helping people in need.

Under the leadership of Executive Director, Bob Black, we have evolved to become a platform for individuals who want to actively participate in sustainable global development projects.

Today, Devxchange International is an association of volunteers who believe that international development is a two-way exchange. Our projects, led by Canadian volunteers, operate in over 20 countries around the world, linking resources to local implementing partners. We provide the tools necessary for the project leaders to successfully support their passion and cause.

In short – our approach is a development exchange that helps people help people!

Step 1 – Use our powerful search tools to find the opportunity/opportunities you are interested in. From the thousands of opportunities and countries available, we do all the work for you by directly linking you to the opportunities on our partners websites. No wasting hours of searching.

Step 2 – If you find what you are looking for – apply directly to partner organization or ask us for additional help in placement.

Step 3 – For Canadians- Contact us and we will help you raise funds for your trip/ set up a campaign page and provide tax receipts to your donors for qualifying placements. We provide this service free. Contact us for more information.
